For our Sport Relief activities the KS1 children completed a running challenge and the KS2 children took part in street dance sessions. We raised over £120 as a school!
We took all the KS1 children down to the field on a very rainy March day. All the children ran with determination and showed great stamina, it was very muddy but everyone had fun! We aimed to run a total of 300 laps but we managed an AMAZING 341! (That is 85 miles!)
Alison came in to teach the KS2 children street dance. Everybody had lots of fun and learnt lots of new things. At the start we did an exercise called the finger exercise and we got to shake our bottoms! We jumped up and down in dances and got to be in groups numbered 1,2 and 3. After we performed them and had a drink then we had to stop and everyone was exhausted!
