Why Choose Baslow St. Anne's...

Here at Baslow St. Anne's C of E Primary School, we have five classes and currently 127 on roll;

Tigers – Reception/Year 1     Leopards – Year 1/Year 2

Lions – Year 3/Year 4             Pumas – Year 4/Year 5       Jaguars – Year 6

All of our classes have very experienced teams and teaching staff in them, supported by the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher.

Our vision and aim is to provide high-quality teaching, learning and academic success, alongside a broad and enriched experience and curriculum, to lead a 'life in all its fullness, whilst growing healthy minds and hearts together'. We are excited to share with you the vast range of opportunities that our children have the chance to take part in, whilst on their journey at Baslow St. Anne's CE Primary School.

We have had the joy of recently performing our annual nativity at St. Anne’s Church with our Reception/Y1 Tigers and Y1/2 Leopards – ‘Knock, Knock… The Nativity!’

In the run-up to Christmas, we hold our Christmas Giving Advent Calendar where we work on our personal development skills with our children and recognise the importance of giving and supporting our community and the less fortunate. This year this has included making and writing Christmas cards and letters to the elderly in our local care homes, singing to the Senior Citizens, Luncheon Club and WI, delivering handmade Christmas decorations & handmade biscuits, accompanied by some festive Christmas carol singing to our local businesses, decorating a tree in Bakewell Church and supporting Shelter the charity for the homeless through our local Baslow Bolt Run, Christmas Service and Ashgate Hospice through our Enterprise Christmas Fayre.

We are proud that our personal development and behaviour was recognised as ‘outstanding’ in our most recent Ofsted inspection.
