Week 1, Spring 1

We had a fantastic first week back! We read the book The Lost Words and wrote kennings about ourselves before guessing whose was whose. In Maths, we started our multiplication and division topic with Y4s understanding factor pairs and Y3s understanding related calculations.

In science, we started exploring rocks and tried to identify and describe their properties. In PE, we looked at dance, in particular The Nutcracker ballet. We looked at moving around the room, using height and space as well as creating our own toy statues. 

We finished the week by thinking of our goals for 2026!
