Class Spilt Structure
Class Split Information - Please refer to the diagram above which further explains this.
Baslow St. Anne's C of E Primary School has five classes from Reception (EYFS 2) to Year 6. Therefore, seven year groups have to be supported over five classes, meaning that Year 1 and Year 4 children are split between two of our classes. We split by age, unless there are specific circumstances, which we then discuss with parents.
- Younger Year 1 children will carry out their Year 1 in the Tigers, Class 1 and older Year 1 children will carry out their Year 1 in the Leopards, Class 2.
- Younger Year 4 children will carry out their Year 4 in the Lions, Class 3 and older Year 4 children will carry out their Year 4 in the Pumas, Class 4.
The split is made once we know our up and coming numbers for the September intake, so the amount in each class each year will vary.
